Tuoitrenews officially launches new version

Tuoitrenews officially launches new version

Monday, March 25, 2013, 17:31 GMT+7

Starting today, March 25, Tuoitrenews will begin running on its new platform, which is updated to help the website maintain its commitment to provide readers with the most updated and accurate news from Vietnam.

The updated version was introduced to readers during a week-long trial run starting March 18. During this week the editorial board received positive feedback as well as valuable suggestions for improvement from readers both here in Vietnam and overseas.

All suggestions have been, and will continue to be, considered, and the website is committed to never stop enhancing and perfecting its system, as well as the quality of its news coverage with the new version.

Tuoitrenews has been restructured into a more modern and user-friendly design that hopefully provides readers with better and more convenient access to its content. Most of the changes were made based on the browsing habits of readers, thus we hope the new version ‘understands’ and suits even the most hard-to-please visitors.

Readers now do not have to click or surf the website as much as more content and features are on display and ready for a visit. The comment section has also been enhanced to help the editorial board better receive feedback from, and strengthen interaction with, readers.

The news content will also be more updated, accurate, well-written, and thoughtful to better serve readers.

Besides the main platform for news content, Tuoitrenews also upgraded its multimedia section, available at http://www.tuoitrenews.vn/media, to bring more lively interactive content to its readers.

The audio sections, with hottest the daily news narrated by native speakers, not only helps local readers improve their listening skills, but also give expats in Vietnam and international readers “a chance to learn how to pronounce the Vietnamese names and localities,” as a reader wrote to the newswire editorial board.

Meanwhile, expats in Vietnam and foreign readers can experience the cultural as well as daily activities of local people in a more lively way with the content provided by the Video and Gallery section.

While the new version is officially running, Tuoitrenews still welcomes and values further feedback from readers in order to perfect its platform. All feedback and suggestions are kindly invited to be made via http://bit.ly/XS4dIk.
