Politics:

- Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schimidt will will officially visit to Vietnam from November 7-8 under the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

- Vietnam and Bangladesh has issued a joint communique on November 4 at the end of a three-day official visit by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, affirming their determination to bring bilateral relations to a new height.

Society:

- Nguyen Minh Giam, deputy director of the Southern Region meteorological and hydrological station announced that this year’s dry season has come to the region earlier compared with previous years due to the changes of weather these days.

- Owners of some buses on the route from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen have been found hiring gangsters to attack others bus on the route to win customers.

- In the nigh of November 4, thousands of local people encircled a shack of Lilama Company at Kim Lien Village in the central provinceof Da Nang after a Nguyen Duc Nghia, 20, resident was seriously beaten at the shack. Nghia was attacked after he refused to give workers working at the shack the fishes he caught in the afternoon.

- The difference in sex ratio at birth have increased rapidly during the last two years, announced by Duong Quoc Trong, general director of the General Office for Population Family Planning, at a national workshop on gender imbalance at birth held on November 3 in Hanoi. According to him, in 2012, there are 112.3 boys were born while the number of girls are 100.  

Lifestyle:

- Tuoi Tre has recently signed with MV Joint Stock Corporation, the representative of the Recording Industry Association of Vietnam to charge its users for downloading music from its online publications including m.tuoitre.vn, tuoitre.vn, tuoitrenews.vn and tv.tuoitre.vn. Netizens currently can listen to 100 albums provided by the association for free but will have to pay VND1,000 for downloading a 320kbps song in the albums in the upcoming time.

- The People Committee of Thua Thien – Hue Province has recently approved a project to comprehensively restore Ngo Mon gate, the main gate leading to Hue Citadel. The project is planned to be finished in 2015.

Business:

- Dang Van Thanh and Dang Hong Anh, former chairman of the board of directors of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) and vice chairman of the Board of Directors respectively have returned home after taking investigation, said Pham Huu Phu, Sacombank’s chairman of the Board of Directors.

- The Government Office has recently announced the conclusion of the Prime Minister, affirming Vietnam National Oils and Gas Group to hand nearlyVND11billion to the State’s budget related the "oil and gas interest owner" in the period of 2009 to 2011.
