Another strong quake hits VN’s hydropower area

A 10s earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8 today jolted the area of Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant in Quang Nam Province’s Bac Tra My District.
The quake is believed to be the strongest that local people have felt since the hydropower was operational.
Local authorities said the quake, occurred at 11:00am, was measured 4.8 on the Richter scale, 0.6 bigger than the quake that hit the area on September 3.
