A border defense unit in central Vietnam on Thursday asked six Chinese fishing boats to leave after catching them operating so deeply into the Vietnamese waters.

The Chinese boats were found fishing at a location only 19 nautical miles (35km) from the waterfront of the Nhat Le River in the central province of Quang Binh, the command of the border defense unit said on Friday.

None of the 28 fishermen all board these ships has any personal papers when checked by the Vietnamese border defense soldiers.

The soldiers then booked the case and recorded the locations where the Chinese fishing boats infringed Vietnamese waters.

The Quang Binh border defense unit also gave a warning to the fishermen and asked them to leave Vietnamese waters, according to the command.
