-- Vietnam maintains consistent policy of attaching much importance to the relations with the US, and is ready to work with the new administration, Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc told reporters Friday.

-- Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his delight at the development of Vietnam-U.S. ties, particularly after the establishment of comprehensive partnership, as he received visiting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Hanoi on Friday.
