-- Three officials at the National Hospital of Endocrinology based in Hanoi have been charged with corruption, according to local investigators.

-- Same-sex marriage will not be banned nor recognized neither, according to a draft law on the family and marriage law of Vietnam.  

-- Many major streets in Tan Binh, Tan Phu districts, and district 12 are under deep water after a heavy rain poured down Ho Chi Minh City on Sept 10 evening.

Politics:

-- President Truong Tan Sang has said that cooperation and experience sharing between the judicial sectors of Vietnam and Cuba is crucial and significant, he made the remarks at a meeting with visiting President of the Cuban People’s Supreme Court Ruben Remigio Ferro in Hanoi on September 10, according to VNA.

-- Pham Quang Nghi - politburo member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee - is leading a delegation from Hanoi to visit China from September 8-12 to foster the relationship between the Vietnamese capital and Beijing, and between the two nations, according to VNA.

-- Nguyen Sinh Hung, Chairman of the National Assembly, asked the drafting board of the law on immigration, migration and residence of foreigners in Vietnam to take special notice of simplifying administrative procedures to ensure openness, transparency, convenience and compliance with international practices, according to VNA.
