Blue Ocean Resort is so enthused about this summer holiday that it’s reimbursing a portion of guests’ transportation costs for visits this summer.

Until the end of August, Life Resorts-managed Blue Ocean will reimburse guests on the School Holiday Special promotion for the cost of a one-way ticket by bus or train from Ho Chi Minh City. Stay two nights and the resort pays one fare both ways. Stay three nights and three one-way fares are reimbursed.

The deal sweetens further with the price point. Blue Ocean has lowered its rate to VND 1,365,000 net through August 31. That rate includes daily breakfast for two adults, free daily breakfast and lunch for kids under 12 who are dining with parents, and the credit toward transportation costs.

“We can’t think of another hotel in Vietnam that’s ever paid for its guests to come visit,” said Chris Duffy, general director of the Life Resorts Management Company. “But during the summer low season, we as a resort are required to work even harder to attract our guests’s attention.”

Four hours from Ho Ch Minh City, the 84-room Blue Ocean Resort features a 153-meter beach, a 26-meter swimming pool and lush tropical grounds.
