These include 4,000 packs of Jet and 1,500 packs of Hero tobaccos.

Anti-smuggling officers in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang have also cracked down on two attempts to illegally bring cigarette and sugar from Cambodia to Vietnam.
Officers in Tinh Bien District seized 26,500 packs of smuggled cigarettes that are worth VND300 million, while five boats carrying 12.5 tons of sugar from Cambodia were also pulled over. The sugar fetches nearly VND190 million.
Officers said they have received several threatens via phone calls from anonymous people who wanted to intervene and get back the confiscated products.
