Vietnam arrests another private bank official over alleged lending regulation violation

Nguyen Xuan Thang, former vice director of Ocean Bank, was nabbed on Thursday for reportedly “intentionally violating state regulations on economic management that causes severe consequences.”
The official, 36, was in charge of major clients and strategic partners of the private bank.
Investigative police also searched his house following the order of the Ministry of Public Security and upon the approval of the Supreme People’s Procuracy.
