Local composer seeks 300 artists for one song

Saturday, May 18, 2013, 12:30 GMT+7

Young composer Quach Beam and his team have just kicked off his project to seek 300 artists from across the country to perform in his song titled “Dao lam con” (Filial duty).

150 singers, actors and models have accepted Quach Beam’s invitation so far to choir in the song, which he composed over two years ago.

“Such a 300-artist choir will certainly have a much greater appeal and persuasive power to the audiences than my solo performance. I also hope the song will tighten the bonds between artists countrywide,” Quach Beam shared.

The DVD featuring this song is scheduled to be released late this year, with all its proceeds to be donated for charity work in different areas throughout the country.
