A job fair is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City next week, offering young talent more than 200 opportunities to work for local firms and French companies in Vietnam, the French Consulate General announced Thursday in a press conference.
The 2016 French-Vietnamese Job Fair, jointly organized by the Embassy of France in Vietnam and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), will take place at the Novotel Saigon Center at 167 Hai Ba Trung Street in District 1 on May 14 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The event is expected to offer candidates, especially Vietnamese who have studied in France as well as those who have obtained a French degree in Vietnam, an opportunity to get valuable information on recruitment and career prospects.
This year’s fair will provide participants with more than 200 job opportunities and the chance to meet recruitment representatives from 21 companies operating in such fields as media and communication, construction, service, hospitality and tourism, and information technology.
The event will also feature methodologic workshops which aim to provide fresh graduates and young workers with practical tips and advice on how to write a résumé or succeed in an interview.
Companies advertising open positions at the event include Accor Asia Pacific, Big C, Capgemini Vietnam, Bachy Solétanche Vietnam, and Hoa Binh Corporation.
The fair previously took place in Hanoi on April 24.
