Local designer Thuan Viet’s collection which highlights the fuse of “ao dai” (traditional Vietnamese long gown) and the Japanese kimono was showcased to local audiences before being taken to Japan during the Vietnam – Japan cultural exchange from Sept 11 to 25.
An exhibition called “The quintessence of Vietnamese Buddhist-themed antiques” will run at Da Nang Museum from today to Sept 16.
An exhibition featuring a collection of antique lamps, considered Vietnam’s largest and most diverse so far, was recently held at the Dien Ban museum during the 2013 Quang Nam Festival, which concludes tomorrow, June 26.
