Around 10 local exhibitors are expected to join Maison&Objet Asia 2014, a regional exhibition for interior design products, will debut in Singapore from 10 to 13 March 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center.

“The expectation is based on the fact that some 15-20 Vietnamese one have attended past Maison&Objet events, including the one in Paris,” said Philippe Brocart, managing director of Maison&Objet in a recent event introducing the event in Ho Chi Minh City.

“The number is gradually increasing,” he added.

“As more and more people are going to buy a house, the demand for interior design products will increase, so the market is there.”

The event stays within a 10-day pre-salon tour of five Asian cities - Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore, from 15 to 25 October.

With over 180 exhibitors, Maison&Objet Asia 2014 will present the best in interior design product ranges and concepts. This careful selection of exhibitors places an exciting emphasis on regional design offerings.

“Asia is fast becoming an important design market and is also home to some of the most innovative and creative designers and design projects today.”

“As a result, Maison&Objet Asia offers a platform to showcase some of the best in Asian design and provides an opportunity to feature collaborative projects from around the region.”

“Maison&Objet Asia in Singapore is the new destination to see and experience the latest design trends emerging from the region,” said Mr Philippe Brocart.

With a strong representation of leading Asian companies to be expected at the show, Maison&Objet Asia also aims to attract European visitors in search of new design influences and ideas to Singapore come March next year.
