Thuan is a homosexual 20-year-old school student who lured young boys into his gay sex ring. His method includes approaching targets at swimming pools, parks, or Internet cafes, after that he would ask them out for meals, online games and offer money in return for touching them.

He would secretly videotape the acts to coerce his victims into serving clients, threatening to post the clips online if they do not comply.

Thuan’s real name is Thi Truong Han, currently living in Hoc Mon district. He’s a 12th grader going to school in district 12 but also attends another school in Hoc Mon under the alias of Le Duc Toan where he has contacts with many boys.

Thuan is quite famous in the homosexual community for his sweet talks and an endless supply of young boys from 8 to 14 years old for sale or exchange.

He used to live with his mother and stepfather but after being busted touching a boy neighbor, he had to move to his grandmother’s house in Thoi Tam Thon commune, Hoc Mon district.

Via yahoo chat nicknames like nhoc_deu92, thanhson.tk29, luxubu_201032, Thuan approached schoolboys and lured them into his network.

On October 15, Tuoi Tre journalists met one of his victims, 13-year-old N. in Hoc Mon. N. is among those filmed and molested by Thuan.

N’s mother told us “I know he [Thuan] is gay, many times my son was sleeping, he stripped him naked and did stuff to him. I have told him to stay away but…”

N. himself told us that “one time he gave me a sleeping pill. I did not know anything”. Several clips featuring Thuan doing bad things to N. have been partly uploaded on the Internet by Thuan himself.

More victims 

We continued to investigate and met another victim, the boy named Bi (a common nickname for a child) mentioned in part 1 who Thuan advertised as a virgin.

The price is VND1 million (US$50) for oral sex or VND2 million ($100) for an anal intercourse with Bi. After a transaction is done, Thuan would keep 30% of the money.

We learned that B’s real name is D., 12 years old. Upon realizing that D. is part of a gay sex ring, his parents were shocked. They told Tuoi Tre that D is suffering from a degenerative joint disease and has been through some major surgeries.

Checking D’s mobile phone, Tuoi Tre and his parents found many text messages from Thuan asking D. to serve clients. When D. refused, Thuan threatened him.

D. himself told Tuoi Tre that he first met Thuan in June last year at a swimming pool. After asking D. out for a walk in the park, Thuan offered him some cash in return for being allowed to kiss D.

On October 16, we met another victim, a boy named T., 14 years old from Phu Nhuan district. T. met Thuan via the former’s brother who is Thuan’s friend.

Around a year ago, Thuan asked T. out for a meal and took him to a house in Dong Thanh commune, Hoc Mon district where Thuan told T “to go to sleep”.

While T. was sleeping, Thuan held him down and raped him. The latest molestation incident occured on October 13 at around 3-4am when Thuan stripped T. naked but T managed to escape.

Early this month, Tuoi Tre clandestinely followed the pedophile pimp to a small hut in a 120 square-meter garden on Nguyen Anh Thu street in district 12. Upon entering the hut, Thuan turned on loud music after which a group of 4-5 boys entered.

As for his motto, one victim, C., 12 years old, told Tuoi Tre that Thuan once preached “you eat the fruit, so you must bear gratitude to the tree grower, you cannot betray me”.
