The second night of the 2018 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2018) lit up the central Vietnamese city on Saturday with performances from France and the United States.

Under the theme “The Legend of Bridges,” The DIFF 2018 is participated by eight teams including host Vietnam, three-time champion Italy, previous winners the U.S. and France, Poland, Portugal, and first-time contenders Sweden and Hong Kong.

The contest will be held over five nights, beginning with a match between Vietnam and Poland on April 30, followed by France vs. the U.S. on May 26, Italy vs. Hong Kong on June 2, and Sweden vs. Portugal on June 9.

The two teams with the most spectacular displays will duel in the final round on June 30 for the championship.

Team Féérie from France started the second night with their colorful pyrotechnic display mixed with beautiful music, telling the story of a friendship cruise that travels across the world.

Team Atlas PyroVision from the United States followed up with nearly 600 fireworks and songs from the 1970s, which represents a bridge between the present and the past.
