-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday held phone talks with his Thai counterpart Paetongtarn Shinawatra after she became the 31st Prime Minister of Thailand.

-- Chairman of the administration in Ho Chi Minh City Phan Van Mai has written to chairpersons of the governments in neighboring Long An, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provinces, urging the completion of the prefeasibility report for Beltway No. 4, which will be 207 kilometers long and require a cost of some VND13 trillion (US$521.2 million). This is the largest-ever road project in southeastern Vietnam.

-- Citilink Indonesia will begin offering charter flights from Jakarta to Da Nang City in central Vietnam in December this year, the airline claimed during a meeting on Thursday with Da Nang leaders who are paying a working trip to Indonesia.
