“These bikes will bring happy memories for students, improve their health, and act as a way of making their dreams come true,” Lee Do Woon, a spokesman for the South Korean president, cited Kim.
Kim also advised the children in the village to try their best and be brave in order to overcome obstacles.
At the event, Kim greeted each of the children and watched them pedal their new bikes.
She said she expected them to be healthy, strong, and helpful people in the future.
