French chef Richard Toix will take gastronomy lovers in Ho Chi Minh City on a discovery of flavors through the gastronomic week, lasting from June 4-8, at Sofitel Saigon Plaza hotel's L’Olivier Restaurant.

He will introduce a selection of inspired dishes representing the cuisines of various countries globally to diners at the restaurant located at 17 Le Duan Street in HCMC’s District 1.

There will be a variety of menus offered at the price from VND680,000 to VND1,420,000 ($32.6-68.2) per dish every day during the gastronomic week  at the restaurant.

L’Olivier Restaurant, a traditional French restaurant named for its Mediterranean cuisine, is well-known in the city for the Michelin star promotions every trimester.

Chef Richard Toix, born in Perpignan - a city in the South of France, has worked for the three Michelin Stars “Freres Roux” Restaurant in London and several positions in some of the most prestigious restaurants before opening his first restaurant, “Le Champ de Foire” in Lencoitre.

Moreover, He was awarded Michelin Star nine months after that and has always shown in Poitiers since then.

The gastronomic week is said to be the time for Toix to challenge himself in Vietnam as his only wish is to create, to renew and to pursue his passion.
