\n\tVietnam television channel VTV2, belonging to the State-run Vietnam Television (VTV), will start regularly featuring films for adults at night from next month to meet the demand of viewers from 18 years old.

\n

\n\t18+Adult films are planned to be on show at 23:00pm three days a week -- on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

\n

\n\t‘Sex and the City’ will be the first film to be showed on the channel at 23:00pm from November 10.

\n

\n\tThe adult film program includes 30 minutes for film and 15 following minutes for talks with iconic entertainment stars. Actress Truong Ngoc Anh, model Trang Tran, and singer Truong Quynh Anh will make their debut appearance on the program of VTV2 next month.

\n

\n\tNguyen Ha Nam, head of the editors’ department of VTV, told Tuoi Tre, “We will label the film show as 18+ to warn that it is not for people under the age.

\n

\n\t“In addition, we select to feature the film at the late time.”

\n

\n\tVTV2 is the channel for sciences and education and so contents on sex and gender education fits the channel, he added.
