Designer stuns viewers with 360° aerial panoramas of Ho Chi Minh City

A Vietnamese graphic designer has submitted to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper a collection of 360° aerial photos which capture Ho Chi Minh City in striking sphere-like shapes.

The photos are among the latest additions to Ho Y’s oeuvre, which includes some thousand conventional pictures of the city.

The 34-year-old graphic designer said that in order to create the gorgeous collection, he had to take many 360° aerial photos from vantage points on high spots.

The photos were then collaged into panoramas, which are pictures with an unobstructed view extending in all directions.

Y then added 360° computer effects to the photos before giving finishing touches to them.

“Admiring the city from above is indeed a sheer thrill for me, which I would like to share with viewers. My 360° aerial photos depict the metropolis as a miniature earth, and hopefully offer viewers a fun, novel perspective,” he divulged.

Y, who was born and grew up in the central city of Da Nang, has lived in Ho Chi Minh City since 1999.

The man added that he might return to Da Nang City and capture it in a similar collection of 360° aerial panoramas.
