A steel flyover built at Lang Cha Ca roundabout, a gateway heading to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, is open to traffic starting from 8:30am on April 27.
Motorbikes and automobiles under 10 tons are allowed to travel on this flyover which is 244.2m long and 6.5m wide.
The traffic project was done after 80 days, more than two months sooner than planned.
This is the third steel flyover built in Ho Chi Minh City after the first two at Hang Xanh and Thu Duc intersections.
Three more flyovers will be built at Cong Hoa-Hoang Hoa Tham crossroads in Tan Binh District, Ba Thang Hai-Nguyen Tri Phuong-Ly Thai To crossroads in District 10 and Cay Go Roundabout in District 6 to deal with traffic overload during peak hours.
