A tornado touched down on a street in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7 on Thursday afternoon, removing the roofs of several houses.
The twister moved across Nguyen Van Linh Street in Tan Thuan Tay Ward and damaged the houses, according to Tran Huu Luat who took photos of it and sent them to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.
Luat said another tornado also came down in the same area on February 2, but it was less strong and only swept up some dust.
“People had to stop until it was gone to continue their journey on the road,” Luat said.
