Their relatives reported that they had been requested to pay VND400 million ($17,724) for treatment fees, meals and accommodation after Thao got critically injured in an accident on his ship, around 25 nautical miles off Hainan, in mid-July. -- Nine people were killed and 31 others were injured in 26 road accidents which occurred throughout the country on Saturday, the second day of the three-day holiday celebrating National Day (September 2), according to Vietnam's National Traffic Safety Committee. -- Police in Hai Phong City said on Saturday that they were detaining two suspects for their involvement in a shooting happening at an intersection in Hong Bang District, killing a man on Tuesday.Business -- Samsung Vietnam announced on Saturday that they will cease sales of Galaxy Note 7 throughout the country following consumer complaints about the product’s batteries and the Seoul-based corporation is working with suppliers to solve the problem.
