Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer and his family arrived in Vietnam on Sunday, visiting Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam for a vacation.
Le Thu, a fortunate fan who encountered Federer in Hoi An City, revealed to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the tennis star’s family is lodging at a prestigious 5-star hotel in the famous tourist city.
Thu recounted her encounters with Federer’s family during breakfast and on the hotel’s tennis court, describing them as exceptionally amicable.
Federer, accompanied by his wife and four children, exuded warmth and affability, impressing all those around them.
Numerous snapshots of Federer graciously posing with fans on a tennis court in Hoi An on Sunday also emerged on social media, generating considerable buzz among Vietnamese tennis enthusiasts.
This marks Federer’s first visit to Vietnam.
In February, he and his family embarked on a leisurely sojourn to Thailand.
