-- Vietnamese Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang and his Australian counterpart Peter Dutton held online talks on Monday to discuss measures to bolster bilateral defense ties, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

-- It will remain sunny in southern Vietnam on Tuesday, with the highest temperature reaching 34 degrees Celsius, while showers and occasional thunderstorms will occur in the evening, the southern hydro-meteorological station reported, adding that high tide will continue inundating Ho Chi Minh City and some other localities.
