-- It will be mainly sunny during the day, while rain is expected to decrease in intensity across Vietnam on Sunday, according to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

-- Officers in north-central Thanh Hoa Province confirmed early on Sunday morning they had found the bodies of two people who drowned while having a swim at a local lake on Saturday.

-- A passenger recently missed his flight after screening officers at an airport in northern Hai Phong City discovered he was carrying a pack of white crystals suspected to be narcotics. Anti-drug police later examined and concluded that it was actually alum.
