Motorbike riders formed long queues outside petrol stations across Hanoi on Friday night to have their vehicles refilled as previous attempts during the daytime had failed.
Several filling stations in the Vietnamese capital city have been closed over short supply in recent days, making drivers struggle to buy gasoline.
The situation went on on Friday night as many people visited many filling stations without being served.

Nguyen Tuan took a motorbike that ran out of gasoline to Lac Long Quan petrol station and waited in line for about 30 minutes, but when it was almost his turn, a staff announced that the station ran out of stock. ‘Waiting for 30 minutes just to hear such an announcement, I was very disappointed and annoyed. My bike ran out of gas while buying gas is as difficult as buying gold these days. Now I have no choice but to call my wife to pick me up,’ Tuan said on the night of November 4, 2022.
