Rescuers safely saved a five-year-old girl from a concrete pile hole that is more than ten meters deep in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam on Monday.
A representative of the rescue team confirmed the rescue on Tuesday, saying that the call for help to the girl came around 4:30 pm the day before.
Upon the 14-member team’s arrival at the scene, which is within the construction site of the Thang Long Home urban area project in Dong Nai’s Nhon Trach District, they found the girl in a concrete pile pit that is more than 10 meters deep and about 40 centimeters in diameter.
One rescuer then calmed the girl down, while the rest used specialized equipment to thread the belt around the victim’s body.
Nearly 20 minutes later, the rescuers successfully brought the girl to the ground safely.
After giving the girl first aid, they took her to a nearby polyclinic for medical observation, which showed that her health was stable.
