Thai man jumps off Hanoi airport’s 3rd floor

A Thai man was hospitalized after climbing over the railing of the third floor of the T2 Terminal at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and jumping off on Tuesday afternoon.

A leader of the airport told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the case happened at 1:25 pm near an elevator on the third floor of the passenger terminal.

Images on social media showed the man in a blue shirt lying on the ground near an escalator.

Medical workers at the airport immediately gave him first aid and rushed him to a local hospital for emergency treatment.

Noi Bai International Airport has transferred the case to the police and other state management agencies at the airport for further investigation.
