Daughter’s pit bull mauls mother to death in Vietnam

A pit bull fatally attacked a woman while her daughter attempted to save her in Binh Duong Province, southern Vietnam on Wednesday.
Police in Binh Duong’s Di An City on Wednesday night investigated a residence on Thong Nhat Street in the city’s Binh Thang Ward where D.T.V., her 44-year-old daughter Tr.T.T.Th., and 41-year-old son-in-law N.M.T. had been living.
Th. and T. had been raising a pit bull and a German shepherd at the house.
At around 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Th. took the pit bull out of its crate to feed it, but it suddenly ran 15 meters across the house to attack V.
The dog’s bites targeted V.’s head.
Th. tried to step in but could not save her mother.
V. was declared dead at the scene.
