Thu Duc City, 13 districts in Ho Chi Minh City to have water supply disrupted this weekend

Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco), Ho Chi Minh City’s water supplier, will cut or reduce its service in 13 districts and several wards in Thu Duc City from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning for system maintenance.
The maintenance will take place between 9:00 pm on Saturday and 5:00 am on Sunday, during which pumps to the entirety of District 1, District 3, District 4, District 5, District 10, and Phu Nhuan District will be completely closed, the company said.
Wards 1, 2, 3, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, and 25 in Binh Thanh District; Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, and 12 in Tan Binh District; Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 in District 6; Tan Thuan Dong Ward in District 7; Wards 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 in District 8; and Wards 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 in District 11 will also see their water off.
In Thu Duc City, there will be no water from the taps in Linh Xuan, Linh Trung, Linh Chieu, Truong Tho, Linh Tay, Linh Dong, Thao Dien, An Phu, Binh Trung Tay, Binh Trung Dong, Cat Lai, Thanh My Loi, Hiep Phu, Tang Nhon Phu A, Tang Nhon Phu B, Phuoc Long B, Tan Phu, Long Binh, Long Thanh My, Truong Thanh, Long Phuoc, Long Truong, and Phu Huu Wards.
Meanwhile, Binh Hung and Phong Phu Wards in Binh Chanh District and Ward 2 in Tan Binh District will experience low water pressure.
Sawaco noted that residents of the affected areas might expect low-pressure and cloudy water after the anticipated eight-hour disruption because of hydraulic disturbance during the repair process.
