One hundred prominent Vietnamese and Vietnamese-origin individuals from over 20 countries and territories worldwide will attend the Vietnam Global Leaders Forum 2024 (VGLF 2024) in Paris on March 30 and 31 to discuss ways to advance the development and global positioning of Vietnam.
The event will be held by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global).
The first VGLF, held in 2019, attracted more than 200 guests and 20 Vietnamese and international delegations.
Riding on this success, VGLF 2024 is expected to welcome talented Vietnamese and Vietnamese-origin people who are the winners of international prizes, entrepreneurs, large investors, experts, scientists, and artists.
Representatives of the governments, agencies, and organizations in Vietnam and other countries will also attend the forum.
Nguyen Duc Khuong, president of the AVSE Global, said the forum is aimed at gathering resources from the most talented Vietnamese individuals with global influence for the development of Vietnam.
With a multi-dimensional view, short- and long-term action plans, and detailed projects, the forum will help unlock Vietnam’s potential and elevate its standing in the global economic and geopolitical map.
The event this year will focus on how to connect the diverse and strong resources of Vietnamese people around the world to propel the country’s development and take use of the previous success to help Vietnam make breakthroughs.
With the theme of Vietnam Thriving in Change, the event will be an opportunity for influential Vietnamese people to jointly bring about positive changes for Vietnam.
AVSE Global, which is a non-profit organization headquartered in Paris, includes intellectuals, leading experts, and prestigious scientists.
AVSE Global conducts strategic programs and projects to boost Vietnam’s sustainable development and prosperity through 12 networks of experts, international seminars and forums, and training programs.
