Nearly 100 photos of Vietnamese ethnic people printed on silk are on display at an outdoor exhibition in Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong in conjunction with the ongoing Da Lat Flower Festival 2019.

The biennial Da Lat Flower Festival 2019, which honors flowers and the flower industry in the ‘flower city,’ is taking place from December 20 to 24.

On the event’s eighth edition this year, photographer Hoai Linh and designer Minh Hanh together organized an exhibition in the open air of the iconic Xuan Huong Lake in Da Lat.

Hoai Linh’s photos, which capture Vietnamese people of several ethnic groups in Lam Dong such as Chau Ma, Chu Ru, and K’Ho, are printed on silk made in the province’s Bao Loc District.

The organizers want to use this method to promote local products and ethnic cultures.

In addition, a 200-meter-long house with several labor tools of Lam Dong’s indigenous people displayed inside was moved some 200 kilometers from their locality in Cat Tien District to Xuan Huong Lake for the exhibition.

Below are some photos of the works on display at the exhibition:
