Holidaymakers have been crowding indoor destinations in Da Nang City, central Vietnam due to the cloudy and rainy weather over the past few days.
With a cloudy sky and a chance of rain, the weather in the central hub has not been perfect for tourists to take a swim at the city’s famous beaches.
Many visitors instead turned to such indoor entertainment venues as the Mikazuki 365 Water Park and Helio Center entertainment complex.
Night markets and roofed food courts were also among the popular choices.

The Mikazuki 365 Water Park welcomed up to 4,000 guests a day, much higher than expected, according to Hoang Manh Tuan, deputy head of the park’s sales department.
Aside from having fun at the water park, visitors could enjoy the Japanese-style hot spring, the food court, and use other services in the spa and entertainment area.
Meanwhile, the number of visitors to the Helio Center reached 10,000 during the peak period, said Dang Quang Man, its CEO.

The guests even had to wait in long queues in order to participate in some of the popular games at the entertainment complex.
“Due to the bad weather, many holidaymakers, especially families with children, decided to come to this venue, as well as other indoor destinations in Da Nang,” Man elaborated.
The Ba Na Hills, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city, also prepared various indoor entertainment activities, namely the B'estival food and beer festival, the ‘Battle in the Kingdom of the Moon’ show, the Moon Castle, racing games, and a 5D cinema.
