Vietjet is slated to begin flying between Hanoi and Yangon from August 31, the low-cost carrier said on Saturday.
The service, looking to meet increasing travel demand of individuals, tourists and businessmen between Vietnam’s capital city and Burmese tourism hub, will have tickets tickets priced from only VND205,000 (US$9).
The Hanoi – Yangon route is operated on a daily basis with flight time of 1 hour 55 minutes per leg.
The Hanoi – Yangon flight departs at 12:05 pm (local time) and arrives at 1:30 pm (local time). The return flight takes off in Yangon at 2:30 pm (local time) and arrives in Hanoi at 4:55 pm (local time)
The Vietnamese capital city is the second destination to be connected with Yangon following Vietjet’s Ho Chi Minh City-Yangon service.
With similar cultures, Vietnam and Myanmar are attracting investment for tourism and economic development.
