Spectrum of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in Asia, arrived in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam on Wednesday with 4,600 tourists on board.
The 16-story cruise ship boasts over 2,000 cabins and can accommodate up to 5,600 passengers.
Spectrum of the Seas departed from Singapore, bringing travelers from France, Germany, Spain, Thailand, and Singapore to Nha Trang, according to local tourist firm Saigontourist.
The cruise ship was unable to dock in Nha Trang Port due to its large size and instead had to be anchored in Nha Trang Bay before using smaller boats to transport passengers to the mainland.
During their time in Nha Trang, tourists visited the city’s most popular tourist sites, including the Institute of Oceanography, Ponagar Tower, Truong Son Craft Village, Long Son Pagoda, and Dam Market.
They also tried mud bathing and went cycling in the city’s suburbs.
The cruise ship left Nha Trang for Hong Kong on Wednesday evening.
