Various exotic bikes on display at Ho Chi Minh City expo

A series of exotic bicycles are being showcased at the Vietnam Cycle Expo 2024, which kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.
The ninth edition of the expo features products and services of five main segments, including sports bikes, mountain cycles, e-bikes and e-bike engines, bike parts, and bike services.
Visitors to the expo can ride various bikes and also attend the Vietnam Sport Show 2024, which is running concurrently at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7.
The two events, which run until Saturday, bring together numerous international exhibitors.
The Vietnam Sport Show 2024 features more than 400 booths manned by 300 businesses from 12 countries and territories, including Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, the U.S., Japan, France, Singapore, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Italy, and Vietnam.

Pham Cuong, vice-chairman of the Vietnam Automobile, Motorcycle, and Bicycle Association, said that the expo is particularly popular among sports lovers.
Entering its ninth year, the expo is considered to be a prestigious and high-quality event for the bike, e-bike, and supporting industries in the city.
The trend of green transport is rapidly emerging, prompting tech firms and producers to focus on improving their products and producing eco-friendly bikes in a bid to make road transport green.
