Khanh Hoa Province, home to the popular beach city of Nha Trang in south-central Vietnam, welcomed 531 tourists aboard a charter flight from Poland on Wednesday, the first day of the 2025 Lunar New Year.
The Polish group arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport on flight U5 2297 of SkyUp Airlines from Warsaw International Airport.
The flight, the first charter service from Poland to Khanh Hoa, is facilitated by ANEX Vietnam Travel and Trading Company Limited.
The group of 531 Polish tourists will stay for 10 days at 4- to 5-star resorts and hotels in Bai Dai of Cam Lam District and Nha Trang City.
During their visit, the Polish guests will tour Nha Trang City, explore Nha Trang Bay, sail on a catamaran, and enjoy the attractions at VinWonders Nha Trang, among other activities.
ANEX Vietnam Travel and Trading Company Limited plans to operate three flights per month from Poland, bringing around 1,500 visitors monthly.
Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, director of Khanh Hoa’s Department of Tourism, stated that the arrival of the flight from Poland on the first day of the Lunar New Year presents an excellent opportunity to promote Khanh Hoa as a destination for Polish and European tourists in general.
The European market, particularly Poland, is seen as a potential growth area for tourism in Khanh Hoa.
Tourism statistics show that in 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed approximately 181,700 European tourists out of over 4.7 million international visitors to the province.
The largest numbers of tourists came from countries such as Russia, the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, Spain, Belgium, and Denmark.
