Friday, April 12, 2013, 15:10 GMT+7

A Taiwanese university is seeking international applicants, with Vietnamese strongly preferred, for 50 scholarships to study a graduate program that is scheduled to begin in September.

The National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) encourages those who have a university degree in information engineering, computer science, telecommunications, law, business management and other related fields to apply for a place in its International Master Program for Management and Manufacturing.

Candidates must speak Chinese or English because courses will be conducted in either of the languages.

Applications must include a completed application form, a copy of the graduation certificate from the highest educational institute (in Chinese or English translation), an English translation of the transcript of the student’s entire coursework at that institute, a health examination report (including an HIV test), and a study plan or research proposal in English.

Application forms can be downloaded from http://verc.kuas.edu.tw/vn/index.php.

By April 30, all application forms and supporting documents shall be sent by postal mail to the Vietnam Economics Research Center at No. 415 Chien Kung Road, Kaohsiung City 80778, Taiwan.

Detailed information is available in Vietnamese, English, and Chinese at  http://vied.vn/vn/media/tainguyen/hocbong/thong-bao-hoc-bong-truong-dai-hoc-khoa-hoc-ung-dung-cao-hung-kuas-dai-loan_39540.aspx.
