Innovative technologies to be showcased at SFF x SWITCH in Singapore this November

Innovations in fintech, urban solutions, manufacturing, and others will be featured in an exhibition and conference event that will also include a deep tech start-up competition in Singapore this November, according to information provided by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The SFF x SWITCH will take place at the Singapore Expo from November 11 to 15.
It is a collaboration between Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology, which will form a comprehensive showcase of innovative technologies across five key sectors to prime business transformation: fintech, urban solutions and sustainability, health and biomedical sciences, advanced manufacturing and engineering, and digital services.
It will pool insights from global thought leaders, display innovative solutions, and engage entrepreneurs, investors and innovators from around the globe, the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology said on its website.
Rich networking opportunities will also be available for participants to collaborate on technological innovation across the above five key sectors.

The SFF x SWITCH event will have a highlight, the SLINGSHOT, which is a deep tech start-up competition.
The top 100 global start-ups will be invited down to Singapore to pitch their ideas live at the SLINGSHOT 2019 finale from November 11 to 13.
A Vietnamese company, BusMap, will join the SFF x SWITCH. BusMap is a platform for public transportation services that supports commuters.
“We are the most popular bus application in Vietnam with more than two million lookups each month,” the company said in their introduction.
“[The company’s app] implements B2B (BusMap-as-a-Service) and B2B2C business models.”
