The US team won the jury’s and audiences’ ovation with their spectacular firework displays on the closing night, Apr 30, of this year’s Da Nang International Fireworks Competition and was named the winner.

The second prize went to Italian and Japanese teams, while the Russian team and host Vietnam pocketed the third prize.

The Japanese team opened the closing night by ‘painting’ on the sky a vibrant, colorful garden.

Meanwhile, the US team’s firework show melted audiences’ hearts with a melodious, multihued love song and enthralled them with a stunning fusion of light and sounds. The electronic firing pyrotechnics they adopted also opened up a new era for musical firework displays.
