Along with a wide variety of Tet cultural activities, fireworks shows will be held across the country on the midnight of the Lunar New Year’s Eve, Jan 30.
In Hanoi, locals and tourists will be spectators to stunning 15-minute fireworks shows at 29 sites citywide, including five high-range ones.
The high-range pyrotechnic shows will take place at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Van Quan Lake, and My Dinh National Stadium.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City’s night sky will also be brightened with sparkling 15-minute fireworks shows at six sites, including one high-range show at one end of the Sai Gon River tunnel in district 2.
The five low-range shows are set to take place at the Historical, Cultural and Ethnic Park, Ben Duoc War Martyr Monument, Can Gio District Stadium, Nga Ba Giong War Martyr Monument and Lang Le – Bau Co Historical Relic in district 9, Cu Chi, Can Gio, Hoc Mon and Binh Chanh districts respectively.
Pyrotechnic shows, to be held at Ky Dai – Ngo Mon and Phu Da town in Hue, will also entertain locals and tourists and bring them good luck in the lunar new year.
People in Da Nang, which successfully holds the International Fireworks Competition, will also be treated to spectacular 15-minute fireworks feasts, which boast over 2,000 high-range firework balls.
Gorgeous fireworks shows will also be held at several other provinces including northern Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, central Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak and southern Ba Ria Vung Tau, Can Tho and southernmost Ca Mau provinces.
