Wednesday, April 09, 2014, 14:40 GMT+7

The British Council in Ho Chi Minh City has initiated a contest in search of a representative of young Vietnamese fashion/design entrepreneurs.

The competition, “Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) - Fashion/Design Award - 2014,” aims to find a Vietnamese talent to compete at the International Young Creative Entrepreneur Fashion/Design 2014 Award, which will run in London from September 10 to 17.

He/she will also join London Fashion Week and London Design Festival, two major fashion events, along with winners from other countries.

According to the council, the national winner will participate in a one-week UK Tour and be given an opportunity to engage in the UK market and lay the groundwork for future creative business collaboration.

Interested, eligible candidates must fill out a form available at https://www.research.net/s/LSS9J67 by May 31 to outline their own achievements, understanding of the industry and describe why they consider themselves a “fashion/design entrepreneur.”

Detailed information can be found at http://www.britishcouncil.org.

Supported by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, YCE is intended to identify and engage the most brilliant emerging entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural sector.
