Flag salutation ceremony at Ban Gioc Waterfall in Vietnam (video)

The melody of the Vietnamese national anthem is well accompanied by the cascading of Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Participants in a flag salutation ceremony, a fixture held every Monday morning at the Saigon-Ban Gioc Resort, located in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, are often overwhelmed by surprise and beam with national pride while standing in the border area.

Since the 40th anniversary of the country’s reunification, the management and staff of the Saigon-Ban Gioc Resort have held a solemn flag salutation ceremony every Monday morning by Quay Son Stream, where the cascade has tumbled down for ages and soaked into its fatherland.

Vietnamese visitors to the sacred land are overwhelmed by emotion during their visits to Ban Gioc.

Here is a video of the ceremony, jointly produced by Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper and Saigontourist.
