-- The Maternity and Pediatric Hospital in the central city of Da Nang has recently inaugurated its pilot breast milk bank with the aim of serving around 3,000 to 4,000 babies per year.

-- Vietnam has recently been ranked among the top five countries with lowest living cost for expats, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has said, citing an InterNations’ survey on 14,300 people living in 191 countries and territories around the world.

-- Vietnamese enterprises have invested in 1,188 projects in 70 countries and territories with the total registered investment capital of $21.3 billion, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Investment Agency.

-- As of the first half of February, Vietnam’s imports topped $8 billion, whereas exports stood at $5.9 billion, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said on Friday.


-- Vietnamese flick “Father and Son” by Luong Dinh Dung has recently been chosen to be screened and compete at the 2017 Boston International Film Festival in Massachusetts from April 13 to 17.
