Police in southern Vietnam’s Dong Nai Province have summoned five people for questioning over a gang fight that broke out late on Monday outside a popular nightclub in the provincial capital of Bien Hoa.

A three-minute video of the fight was recorded and uploaded to social media, showing two groups of young men taking part in a violent fight outside the Venus Club on Vo Thi Sau Street in Bien Hoa.

In the clip, two badly injured men could be seen sitting on the pavement with blood dripping all over their shirts.

Police and local security forces arrived at the scene to take the injured men to hospital.

According to Bien Hoa Police, the two groups of young men had been drinking elsewhere before arriving at the Venus Club at approximately 11:00 pm on Monday.

It was there that a heated row reportedly broke out between the groups, with members of each group using glasses to strike one another.

When the fight was taken outside and became a chase, onlookers informed police, who arrived shortly after to take the injured to hospital.

In February, a  confrontation between two rival gangs in Dong Nai caused a similar commotion and resulted in one man having his arm severed.
