Police in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang have arrested a group of Chinese nationals for hiring at least four women, including an underage girl, to perform sexual acts and engage in sexual conduct for them to produce pornography materials.
The municipal police department confirmed on Tuesday morning they have apprehended five Chinese men, aged from 22 to 30, and Sam Thi Sen, a 24-year-old Vietnamese woman who hails from the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.
They were charged for "having sex with or performing other sexual acts with people aged from 13 to under 16."
Officers on Friday received a report from a local resident stating that N.H.K.D., a 15-year-old girl in Da Nang, had been lured and forced to engage in sexual acts that were live-streamed on a Chinese social network.
The incident happened at a house in An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District, according to the report.
Police carried out a search at the four-story house on the following day, and found the five Chinese nationals residing there.
Officers also examined their phones and computers and discovered multiple photos and videos with pornographic content.

The investigation also revealed that Sen had hired the house since February.
She and the Chinese men took photos and make live-stream videos with pornographic content with girls they had offered money to. Viewers were required to pay a fee to have access to the materials.
Sen was also in charge of searching for ‘actresses’ by posting advertisements on social media.
The actresses were promised to be paid VND700,000 (US$30) per six hours if they agree to be part of porn videos without sexual encounters.
If they agree to have sex, the payment was VND1 million ($43) per six hours.
The group has successfully hiring D. and three other women to film their pornography videos so far.
