-- Police in Binh Chanh District in Ho Chi Minh City said on Wednesday they have busted a gang of 13 young robbers, led by a 15-year-old boy, which committed a total of 17 robberies in the district and its neighborhoods.
-- The Southern Airports Authority has imposed a VND8.5 million (US$365.5) administrative fine on a 29-year-old man from the central city of Da Nang for stealing a bracelet of a female passenger at the security gate of Da Nang International Airport on September 16.
-- The Vietnamese Ministry of Transport has tasked relevant agencies of the Mekong Delta province of An Giang with carrying out reconstruction of a two-kilometer eroded section of the National Highway No.91 passing through Chau Phu District with a total budget of over VND160 billion ($6.88 million).
