A woman was killed and another injured after a passenger bus crashed into a roadside ditch and tipped over in the northern Vietnamese province of Son La on Sunday.
The accident happened along a section of National Highway No. 6 in Long Luong Commune, Van Ho District at around 6:15 am, according to preliminary information.
Hoang Van Hoa, 37, was driving the passenger bus when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed it into a ditch along the side of the road, causing the bus to tip over and end up on its side.
The vehicle was carrying 19 women at the time of the accident.

One of them was thrown out of the bus during the crash and was killed on the spot.
She was later identified as 25-year-old D.T.H..
Another passenger suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Police officers have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
Quick tests revealed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
