— Customs officers at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City have intercepted six cases of illegal drug transportation by air, seizing a total of 12.7kg of drugs of all kinds in the past two weeks.

— Total new and additional investment capital in Ho Chi Minh City’s industrial and processing zones reached $224.61 million in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 66.34 percent year-on-year and representing 40.84 percent of the annual plan, the Vietnam News Agency reported on Wednesday.

— Hanoi suggested organizing a Hanoi Cultural Day in St. Petersburg and a St. Petersburg Cultural Day in Hanoi during an online meeting between the Vietnamese capital's Department of External Affairs and the Russian city's Committee for External Relations to discuss ways to enhance cooperation on Wednesday, the Vietnam News Agency reported the same day.
